Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Summary

14-day right of return from receipt of goods — voluntarily granted by the pharmacy.
Return shipping is free — return costs are covered by the pharmacy.
Refunds are issued via the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days after receipt of the return.

Legal basis

Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases in principle (cf. Art. 40a ff. CO — the right of withdrawal applies only to doorstep sales and similar forms, not to e-commerce).

However, Farmacia del Parco SA voluntarily grants you an extended return right as an expression of our commitment to quality and service for our customers.

Return period

You can return items within 14 days of receipt. The date of delivery by Swiss Post or the date of pickup in the pharmacy is decisive.

Conditions for return

  • Products must be unopened and in their original packaging;
  • Products must not be excluded from return for hygiene or health reasons (see below);
  • The original packaging is undamaged and all labels/seals are intact;
  • A copy of the order confirmation or the order number (FDP-…) must be included.

Excluded from return

For regulatory, hygiene, and health reasons, the following products cannot be returned:

  • Medicines of any kind (including OTC Cat. D/E) once delivered — due to the Therapeutic Products Act (TPA) and the non-reintegration into the regulated distribution channel;
  • Opened cosmetics, skincare, personal care, and make-up products (hygiene);
  • Opened oral hygiene products (toothpaste, mouthwash);
  • Custom-made or personalized products;
  • Products with damaged protective film or seal.

Return procedure

  1. Contact us: send an email to farmaciadelparco@ovan.ch or call +41 91 922 80 30. Provide your order number (FDP-…) and the items to return.
  2. Return label: you will receive a prepaid Swiss Post return label via email.
  3. Pack and ship: place the items in the original packaging inside a secure shipping box. Attach the label and drop off the parcel at your nearest post office.
  4. Alternative — in-person drop-off: you can also deliver the return directly to the pharmacy (Viale Carlo Cattaneo 11, 6900 Lugano) during opening hours.

Refund

After receipt and verification of the return, we will refund the purchase price, usually within 5–10 business days. The refund is issued via the same payment method used for the order (TWINT, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PostFinance).

Original shipping costs (if charged) are not refunded for partial returns; in the case of a full order return, they are refunded in full.

Complaints and damaged goods

If you receive damaged, incorrect, or missing items, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We guarantee a quick and uncomplicated resolution (replacement shipment or full refund).
